When a topic needs more time and language

At the end of last year, in my annual horoscope, I spoke for the first time about my individual talking therapy as a new space under my own roof. In the meantime, www.janapakozdi.de is live, and today I would like to tell you in more detail what this is about – and why this offering is being given its own place precisely now.

Grown out of accompaniment
In recent years, one thing has become increasingly clear in my work: many topics that surface during a treatment or in sensitive coaching need more time, more language, and a framework of their own in order to become truly tangible. Since childhood, I have had a fine sensitivity for people – for their moods and for what resonates beneath the unspoken. This perception has shaped my path in life and remains the foundation of my work accompanying others to this day.

More than two decades as a beautician and coach have shown me how strongly outer and inner processes are interwoven. When the body comes to rest, inner space often opens up as well. Perception becomes finer; something is allowed to show itself. Some of these moments found their answer within the treatment itself; others only hinted at something and were then left hanging. Out of precisely these encounters, over the years, grew the wish to give talking therapy a place of its own – supported by my training as a non-medical practitioner (Heilpraktikerin) for psychotherapy and by many years of further training in NLP, Logosynthesis® and psychological counselling.

What emerges in conversation
My talking therapy combines the therapeutic conversation with sensitive perception and many years of experience in accompanying people. I listen to what is said, and at the same time I sense what lies underneath: moods, tensions, parts of the personality that reveal themselves only gradually.

Some topics do not show up immediately in clear words. They are felt more as restlessness, pressure, exhaustion, or a quiet sense of foreboding. Sometimes a person knows that something within them is seeking clarity, without yet being able to name what it is. This is where my work begins. In conversation, inner and outer situations are first allowed to be perceived, described, and placed in context. What previously could only be felt as a mood gradually finds language – and with it, a new mobility.

What matters to me is not quick answers or ready-made interpretations, but a gentle coming-to-know: a protected space in which you can meet yourself more deeply – with your story, your needs, your inner strengths, and whatever is asking to be newly ordered. From this, a more realistic self-perception can emerge, greater self-determination, and a more conscious way of dealing with present and future life situations.

The difference from sensitive coaching
Coaching offers impulses, makes connections visible, and clarifies the next steps. Talking therapy goes further back and looks at what is working underneath: recurring patterns, biographical imprints, inner themes that have long been difficult to put into words. In this way, insight becomes not only orientation, but an understanding that holds for longer. Coaching and talking therapy do not exclude one another – they complement each other. Which form is right for you at any given time is something we clarify together.

What people come for
I accompany people who want to clarify their self-perception, find orientation in times of transition, understand old patterns, or bring their potentials more consciously into play. Others come with relationship questions, professional reorientation, or a feeling that something in life has shifted without it yet being clear in which direction. Often, they are people who have reflected a great deal and yet sense that intellectual understanding alone is not enough. Some of these themes only become tangible in protected conversation.

The connection to the “time quality” of 2026
That this offering is being given a place of its own right now is also connected to what is astrologically emerging this year. 2026 marks a transition from sorting to acting. Years of inner clarification flow into a phase in which decisions do not want to be postponed, but made.

At the end of January, Neptune moved into Aries; Saturn followed on 14 February. On 20 February, the two met on the first degree of this fire sign – a point that stands for primal impulse, beginnings and initiative. Those who have gained inner clarity in recent years now find resonance in the outer world. The time calls for choosing one’s commitment consciously: What do I stand for? Where do I invest my energy?

At the end of April, Uranus moved into Gemini, where it will remain until 2033. Thinking accelerates; communication, information flows and inner language patterns are set in motion. Artificial intelligence and new forms of knowledge transfer become an even stronger part of everyday life. Many things want to happen at once: to speed up, to be newly sorted, and at the same time to find a sustainable form. Precisely then, spaces become important in which thoughts do not have to accelerate, but are allowed to find depth – spaces in which language can once again become what it truly is: a tool for clarification. In my talking therapy, I try to make exactly that possible: calm, clear, and without pressure.
